Two research positions have become available for the project The Grand Narrative of the Holy Defense: Dynamics of Representation and Subversion in Iranian War Literature at the department of Iranian Studies of the University of Bamberg. The Project is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and directed by me. 8. Oldest Known Malay Mirror for Princes from Persian at Cambridge University Library
The Malay translation of Akhalq-e Mohseni by the famous Persian thinker and polymath, Vaiz Kashifi has been identified at Cambridge University Library. This is now the first and oldest known Malay “Mirror for Princes” from the 16th century.
